BMW M3 M-Performance Touring (G81)

BMW M3 Touring (G81) on BMW M-divisjoni ajaloo üks märgilisemaid mudeleid – esimene kord, kui M3 toodeti universaalkerega. Mudel esmaesitleti 2022. aasta juunis ning seeriatootmine algas sama aasta novembris Müncheni tehases. Touring ühendab M3 sportliku DNA praktilise universaalvormiga, pakkudes erakordset tasakaalu jõudluse ja igapäevase kasutusmugavuse vahel. Kapoti all töötab 3,0-liitrine kuuesilindriline biturbo-mootor S58B30, mille võimsus on 510 hj (375 kW) ja pöördemoment 650 Nm vahemikus 2750–5500 p/min. Mootor on ühendatud 8-käigulise automaatkäigukastiga (M Steptronic) ning xDrive-nelikveosüsteemiga, mis võimaldab vajadusel ka täielikult tagaveolist sõidurežiimi. Kiirendus 0–100 km/h on 3,6 sekundit, 0–200 km/h saavutatakse umbes 12 sekundiga, ning tippkiirus on elektrooniliselt piiratud 250 km/h (või 280 km/h koos M Driver’s Package’iga).
Tühimass on ligikaudu 1865 kg, pikkus 4794 mm ja laius 1903 mm. Vedrustus on adaptiivne M-spetsiifilise seadistusega, mis tagab kompromissitu stabiilsuse ka suurel kiirusel. Salongis on kasutusel uusim iDrive 8 süsteem koos kõverekraaniga, sportistmed ja M-disainielemendid.
Kuigi BMW ei ole ametlikult avaldanud M3 Touringu tootmismahtu, jääb see hinnanguliselt alla 10 000 eksemplari aastas, mis teeb mudelist suhteliselt haruldase võrreldes M3 sedaani ja M4 kupeega. Tootmine jätkub kuni järgmise M3 põlvkonna turuletoomiseni, eeldatavalt 2027. aastani.

The BMW M3 Touring (G81) is one of the most significant models in the history of BMW’s M Division – marking the first time the M3 has been produced with a touring body style. The model was first unveiled in June 2022, with series production beginning in November of the same year at BMW’s Munich plant. The Touring combines the M3’s sporty DNA with the practicality of a wagon, offering an exceptional balance between performance and everyday usability. Under the hood lies a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine (S58B30), producing 510 hp (375 kW) and 650 Nm of torque between 2,750 and 5,500 rpm. Power is delivered through an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission and an xDrive all-wheel-drive system, which can also enable a fully rear-wheel-drive mode. Acceleration from 0–100 km/h is 3.6 seconds, 0–200 km/h is achieved in around 12 seconds, and top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h (or 280 km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package).
The car has an approximate curb weight of 1,865 kg, a length of 4,794 mm, and a width of 1,903 mm. The adaptive M-specific suspension setup ensures uncompromised stability even at high speeds. Inside, the latest iDrive 8 system with a curved display, sport seats, and distinct M design elements emphasize the model’s performance character.
Although BMW has not officially disclosed M3 Touring production numbers, estimates suggest fewer than 10,000 units per year, making it relatively rare compared to the M3 sedan and M4 coupé. Production is expected to continue until the introduction of the next M3 generation, anticipated around 2027.
