Mudelautode kogumisega alustasin juba 1980. aastate lõpus. Esialgu koosnes kogu peamiselt Nõukogude päritolu mudelitest, kuid sekka sattus ka üksikuid valuuta eest ostetud Norevi mudeleid. Suurema või väiksema hooga olen mudeleid kogunud tänaseni. Kuni 2000. aastate alguseni keskendusin valdavalt vene mudelitele ning ühel hetkel oli neid kogus ligikaudu 150. BMW mudelid olid minu kollektsioonis olemas juba siis, kuid 2000. aastate alguses otsustasin pühenduda ainult BMW tänavaautode mudelite kogumisele. Sellest ajast alates olen müünud suurema osa varasematest mudelitest ning täiendanud kogu järjepidevalt BMW-dega. Kõik siin lehel olevad mudelid on mõõtkavas 1:43.
Kollektsioonis on esindatud väga erinevad BMW mudelid alates 1908. aasta DIXIst kuni viimaste aastate seeriamudeliteni. Lisaks tavapärastele tänavaautodele kuuluvad kogusse ka prototüübid, eriseeriad, ideeautod ning BMW motosporti tähistavad mudelid. Nii peegeldab kollektsioon BMW arengulugu läbi erinevate ajastute, mudelipõlvkondade ja tehniliste suundade.
Kuna jätkan oma kollektsiooni täiendamist ka edaspidi, lisandub siia lehele jooksvalt uusi mudeleid. Värskemad lisandused on välja toodud esilehel.
I began collecting model cars in the late 1980s. At first, my collection consisted mainly of Soviet-made models, although there were also a few Norev models purchased with foreign currency. I have continued collecting, sometimes more actively and sometimes less, ever since. Until the early 2000s, I focused mostly on Soviet models, and at one point my collection included around 150 of them. BMW models were already part of my collection at that time, but in the early 2000s I decided to focus exclusively on BMW road cars. Since then, I have sold most of the earlier models and steadily expanded the collection with BMWs. All models featured on this website are in 1:43 scale.
The collection includes a wide variety of BMW models, ranging from the 1908 DIXI to the latest production cars. In addition to regular road cars, the collection also includes prototypes, special editions, concept cars, and models representing BMW motorsport. In this way, the collection reflects the history and development of BMW through different eras, model generations, and technical directions.
As I continue to expand my collection, new models will also be added to this website on an ongoing basis. The most recent additions are highlighted on the homepage.
