BMW XM (G09) on suur luksuslik kõrge jõudlusega SAV, mis tähistas BMW M jaoks täiesti uut ajastut. Mudelit esitleti 2022. aastal ning see oli esimene BMW M poolt iseseisvalt arendatud seeriamudel pärast legendaarset M1-te. XM paistis kohe silma oma jõulise ja vastuolulise disaini, väga luksusliku salongi ning elektrifitseeritud jõuallikaga, mis tõi BMW M mudelivalikusse uue suuna. Tootmine algas 2022. aasta detsembris Spartanburgis Ameerika Ühendriikides ning mudel jõudis müügile 2023. aastal.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW XM 4,4-liitrist V8-mootorit koos elektrimootoriga, moodustades pistikhübriidse M Hybrid jõuallika. Esialgse XM-i süsteemvõimsus ulatus 653 hobujõuni ja pöördemoment 800 njuutonmeetrini, samas kui hilisem tippversioon XM Label tõstis need näitajad 748 hobujõu ja 1000 njuutonmeetrini. BMW XM tähtsus seisneb selles, et see ühendas M-osakonna jaoks esmakordselt suure luksusliku linnamaasturi, elektrifitseerimise ja väga kõrge jõudluse üheks tervikuks.
Minu kollektsioonis olev mudel on Minichampsi toodang. Mudelit toodeti 336 eksemplari.

The BMW XM (G09) is a large luxury high-performance SAV that marked a completely new era for BMW M. Introduced in 2022, it became the first independently developed BMW M production model since the legendary M1. The XM immediately stood out through its bold and controversial design, highly luxurious interior and electrified powertrain, which opened a new direction for BMW M. Production began in December 2022 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and the model reached the market in 2023.
Technically, the BMW XM used a 4.4-litre V8 engine together with an electric motor, forming the plug-in hybrid M Hybrid powertrain. The original XM produced 653 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, while the later flagship XM Label raised those figures to 748 horsepower and 1,000 Nm. The importance of the BMW XM lies in the way it brought together, for the first time in BMW M history, a large luxury SUV, electrification and very high performance in a single model.
The model in my collection is produced by Minichamps. A total of 336 model cars were made.
