BMW 325i (E30) kuulus teise põlvkonna 3. seeria kõige ihaldusväärsemate tavaversioonide hulka ning esindas E30 mudelipere kuuesilindrilist sportlikku tippu väljaspool M3 mudelit. E30 jõudis turule 1982. aastal ja kujunes kiiresti üheks BMW ajaloo kõige armastatumaks mudelipõlvkonnaks, ühendades kompaktsed mõõtmed, tagaveolise arhitektuuri ja väga tasakaalustatud juhitavuse. 325i lisas sellele valemile suurema töömahuga ridakuue mootori, mis andis autole jõulisema ja rafineerituma iseloomu. 1989. aasta auto esindab E30 hilisemat tootmisperioodi, mil mudel oli juba täielikult kinnistanud oma koha sportliku keskklassi etalonina.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW 325i (E30) 2,5-liitrist ridakuue mootorit, mille võimsus ulatus umbes 170 hobujõuni. Just see mootor muutis 325i paljude entusiastide jaoks üheks kõige soovitavamaks E30 tavaversiooniks, sest see ühendas sujuva töö, hea pöörlemisvõime ja väga loomuliku tagaveolise sõidutunde. Minu kollektsioonis olev mudel on Minichampsi toodang. Mudelit toodeti 504 eksemplari ning see kujutab 1989. aasta autot.

The BMW 325i (E30) was among the most desirable regular versions of the second-generation 3 Series and represented the six-cylinder sporting peak of the E30 family outside the M3. The E30 reached the market in 1982 and quickly became one of the most beloved generations in BMW history, combining compact dimensions, rear-wheel-drive architecture and very balanced handling. The 325i added a larger straight-six engine to that formula, giving the car a stronger and more refined character. A 1989 car represents the later production period of the E30, by which time the model had fully established itself as a benchmark in the sporting mid-size class.
Technically, the BMW 325i (E30) used a 2.5-litre inline-six producing around 170 horsepower. It was this engine that made the 325i one of the most desirable regular E30 versions for many enthusiasts, because it combined smooth running, a willingness to rev and a very natural rear-wheel-drive feel. The importance of the E30 lies in the way it brought together classic BMW proportions, a broad model range and a driver-focused character into one family with a very clear identity.
The model in my collection is produced by Minichamps. A total of 504 model cars were made, and it represents a 1989 car.
