BMW M4 Coupé (F82) on kõrge jõudlusega kupee, mis tähistas olulist muutust BMW M mudelite nimetustes ja kontseptsioonis. Mudelit esitleti 2013. aastal ning see jõudis tootmisse 2014. aastal esimese M4 nime kandva kupeena, võttes kaheukselise M-mudeli rolli üle varasemalt M3 Coupélt. F82 ühendas klassikalise BMW M-kupee proportsioonid, laiendatud kere, süsinikkiust katuse ja mitmed kergkonstruktsiooni lahendused, mis rõhutasid selle sportlikku ja juhikeskset iseloomu.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW M4 Coupé 3,0-liitrist kahe turboga S55 ridakuut, mille võimsus ulatus 431 hobujõuni ja pöördemoment 550 njuutonmeetrini. Mudelit pakuti nii kuuekäigulise manuaalkäigukasti kui ka seitsmekäigulise M DCT automaatkäigukastiga. Sõltuvalt käigukastist kiirendas M4 Coupé 0–100 km/h umbes 4,1–4,3 sekundiga ning tippkiirus oli tavaversioonil elektrooniliselt piiratud 250 km/h-ni.
F82 M4 oli oluline mudel ka seetõttu, et see tõi BMW M-kupeede maailma uue turbomootorite ajastu. Võrreldes varasema vabalthingava V8-mootoriga E92 M3-ga pakkus uus S55 mootor oluliselt suuremat pöördemomenti ja teistsugust jõuülekande iseloomu. Hiljem lisandusid mudelivalikusse ka Competition Package, M4 CS, M4 GTS ja teised eriversioonid, kuid põhiversioonina jääb F82 M4 ajalukku esimese M4 nime kandva BMW M-kupeena.

BMW M4 Coupé (F82) is a high-performance coupé that marked an important change in BMW M model naming and concept. The model was presented in 2013 and entered production in 2014 as the first coupé to carry the M4 name, taking over the role of the two-door M model from the previous M3 Coupé. The F82 combined the classic proportions of a BMW M coupé with a widened body, a carbon-fibre roof and several lightweight construction features, all emphasising its sporty and driver-focused character.
Technically, the BMW M4 Coupé used the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged S55 straight-six engine, producing 431 hp and 550 Nm of torque. The model was available with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed M DCT automatic transmission. Depending on the transmission, the M4 Coupé accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in around 4.1–4.3 seconds, while the top speed of the standard version was electronically limited to 250 km/h.
The F82 M4 was also an important model because it introduced a new turbocharged engine era to BMW M coupés. Compared with the previous naturally aspirated V8-powered E92 M3, the new S55 engine offered significantly more torque and a different power delivery character. Later, the model range was expanded with the Competition Package, M4 CS, M4 GTS and other special versions, but the standard F82 M4 remains historically important as the first BMW M coupé to bear the M4 name.
