BMW 6. seeria Coupé (E63) on teise põlvkonna 6. seeria luksuslik grand tourer, mis tõi 2000. aastatel BMW kupeede maailma tagasi suure ja jõulise kuuesarja. Mudelit toodeti aastatel 2003–2010 ning see paistis silma pika kapoti, madala kupeekere ja väga omanäolise disainiga. E63 põhines tehniliselt E60 5. seerial, kuid kandis selgelt eksklusiivsemat ja emotsionaalsemat iseloomu, ühendades mugava pikamaasõidu, tugeva jõudluse ja BMW-le omase juhikeskse tunnetuse.
Tehniliselt pakuti BMW 6. seeria Coupéd mitme kuue- ja kaheksasilindrilise bensiini- ning diiselmootoriga. 2006. aasta oli mudelirea jaoks oluline, sest siis asendas 650i varasema 645Ci ning samal aastal jõudis valikusse ka M6 Coupé, mis viis E63 platvormi võimekuse täiesti uuele tasemele oma vabalthingava V10-mootoriga. Just seetõttu on E63 oluline mudel, sest see tõi 6. seeria tagasi BMW mudelivalikusse pärast pikka pausi ja lõi aluse kogu kaasaegsele 6. seeria põlvkonnale.
Minu kollektsioonis olev mudel on Minichampsi toodang. Mudelit toodeti 1824 eksemplari ning see kujutab 2006. aasta autot.

The BMW 6 Series Coupé (E63) is the second-generation 6 Series grand tourer that brought BMW’s large luxury coupé back into the range in the 2000s. Produced from 2003 to 2010, it stood out through its long bonnet, low coupé body and highly distinctive design. Technically, the E63 was closely related to the E60 5 Series, but it carried a more exclusive and emotional character, combining long-distance comfort, strong performance and BMW’s traditional driver-focused feel.
Technically, the BMW 6 Series Coupé was offered with a range of six- and eight-cylinder petrol engines, along with a diesel option later in production. The year 2006 was especially important for the range, as the 650i replaced the earlier 645Ci and the M6 Coupé also joined the line-up, taking the E63 platform to an entirely new level with its naturally aspirated V10 engine. For that reason, the E63 is an important model because it brought the 6 Series back after a long absence and laid the foundation for the modern-era 6 Series family.
The model in my collection is produced by Minichamps. A total of 1,824 model cars were made, and it represents a 2006 car.
