BMW 550i Touring (F11) on viienda põlvkonna 5. seeria universaali üks võimsamaid tavaversioone, mis ühendas praktilise Touring-kere ja tugeva V8-mootori. Mudel jõudis turule 2010. aastal ning kandis edasi F10/F11 põlvkonna elegantset disaini, kõrget mugavustaset ja tehnoloogiliselt ambitsioonikat iseloomu. The BMW 550i Touring (F11) is one of the most powerful regular versions of the fifth-generation 5 Series Touring, combining the practical estate body with a strong V8 engine. It reached the market in 2010 and carried over the elegant design, high comfort level and technologically ambitious character of the F10/F11 generation. The F11 Touring stood out for its spacious cabin, large luggage compartment and strong long-distance ability, while the 550i added genuinely serious performance to the package. BMW positioned this model for buyers who wanted more from a 5 Series estate than practicality alone.
Technically, the BMW 550i Touring used a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 407 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h took around 5.1 seconds, while top speed was electronically limited to 250 km/h. Production took place in Dingolfing, and the 550i remained one of the most exclusive and powerful regular versions in the F11 model family.
The model in my collection is produced by Schuco and is an official BMW dealer edition.
