BMW Z4 M Coupé (E86) oli Z4 mudelipere kõige sportlikum ja ekstreemsem kupeeversioon ning üks kõige isikupärasemaid BMW M mudeleid 2000. aastatel. Mudel jõudis turule 2006. aastal ning ühendas Z4 Coupé jäiga ja kompaktse kere BMW M kõrge jõudlusega tehnikaga. Võrreldes tavalise Z4 Coupéga eristus M-versioon märksa jõulisema välimuse, nelja summutiotsa, suuremate pidurite ja teravama sõidutunnetuse poolest. Tänu lühikesele teljevahele, tagaveole ja väga vahetule juhitavusele kujunes sellest üks juhikesksemaid BMW kupeesid oma ajastul.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW Z4 M Coupé 3,2-liitrist ridakuue mootorit S54, mille võimsus ulatus 343 hobujõuni. Sama jõuallikat kasutati ka E46 M3-s, mis andis Z4 M Coupéle väga tugeva tehnilise tausta ja suurepärase sooritusvõime. 0–100 km/h kiirendus võttis umbes 5,0 sekundit ning elektrooniliselt piiratud tippkiirus oli 250 km/h. Z4 M Coupé tähtsus seisneb selles, et see ühendas klassikalise BMW M ridakuue, kompaktse kupeekere ja väga puhta tagaveolise sportauto tunnetuse üheks väga eriliseks tervikuks.

The BMW Z4 M Coupé (E86) was the most sporting and extreme coupé version of the Z4 family and one of the most distinctive BMW M models of the 2000s. It reached the market in 2006 and combined the stiff and compact Z4 Coupé body with BMW M high-performance engineering. Compared with the regular Z4 Coupé, the M version stood out through its more aggressive appearance, quad exhausts, larger brakes and much sharper driving feel. Thanks to its short wheelbase, rear-wheel drive and very direct handling, it became one of the most driver-focused BMW coupés of its era.
Technically, the BMW Z4 M Coupé used the 3.2-litre S54 inline-six, producing 343 horsepower. The same engine was also used in the E46 M3, giving the Z4 M Coupé a very strong technical foundation and excellent performance. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h took around 5.0 seconds, while top speed was electronically limited to 250 km/h. The importance of the Z4 M Coupé lies in the way it combined the classic BMW M straight-six, a compact coupé body and a very pure rear-wheel-drive sports car feel into one highly distinctive package.
