BMW 650i Cabrio (F12) on kolmanda põlvkonna 6. seeria luksuslik kabriolett, mis ühendas suure avatud grand tourer’i iseloomu ja tugeva V8-mootori. Mudel jõudis turule 2011. aastal ning kandis edasi 6. seeria traditsiooni kui elegantne, võimas ja pikamaasõiduks sobiv BMW. F12 paistis silma voolujoonelise disaini, pehme tekstiilkatuse ja väga kvaliteetse interjööriga, pakkudes korraga nii mugavust kui ka sportlikku sõiduelamust.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW 650i Cabrio 4,4-liitrist V8-mootorit, mille võimsus ulatus esialgu 407 hobujõuni. Hilisemate uuenduste käigus kasvas võimsus 450 hobujõuni, mis muutis 650i kogu F12 mudelipere üheks kõige jõulisemaks tavaversiooniks. Sama mudelipere tippu kuulus ka M6 Cabrio, mis viis selle platvormi võimekuse veelgi kõrgemale tasemele. F12 650i tähtsus seisneb selles, et see kehastab hästi moodsat BMW luksuskabrioletti, mis ühendab tugeva jõudluse, mugavuse ja klassikalise grand tourer’i iseloomu.

The BMW 650i Cabrio (F12) is the third-generation 6 Series luxury convertible, combining the character of a large open-top grand tourer with a strong V8 engine. It reached the market in 2011 and continued the 6 Series tradition as an elegant, powerful and long-distance capable BMW. The F12 stood out through its flowing design, soft-top roof and very high-quality interior, offering both comfort and a sporty driving experience.
Technically, the BMW 650i Cabrio used a 4.4-litre V8 engine producing initially 407 horsepower. Later updates increased output to 450 horsepower, making the 650i one of the most powerful regular versions in the F12 model family. At the top of the same range was the M6 Cabrio, which took the platform’s performance even further. The significance of the F12 650i lies in how well it represents the modern BMW luxury convertible, combining strong performance, comfort and classic grand touring character.
