BMW 6. seeria Cabrio (E64) on teise põlvkonna 6. seeria lahtine grand tourer, mis tõi BMW luksuslike neljakohaliste kabriolettide maailma tagasi suure ja elegantse avatud mudeliga. Mudelit esitleti 2004. aastal ning see ühendas E63 Coupé jõulise disainikeele pehme tekstiilkatusega kerevormi, mis rõhutas auto pikamaasõiduks sobivat ja esinduslikku iseloomu. Sama mudelipere tippu kuulus hiljem ka M6, mis viis E64 platvormi võimekuse täiesti uuele tasemele oma vabalthingava V10-mootoriga.
Minu kollektsioonis olev mudel on Kyosho toodang ja tegemist on BMW ametliku edasimüüjamudeliga. Mudel kujutab 2004. aasta autot.

The BMW 6 Series Cabrio (E64) is the open-top grand tourer version of the second-generation 6 Series, bringing BMW back into the world of large and elegant four-seat luxury convertibles. Introduced in 2004, it combined the strong design language of the E63 Coupé with a soft-top body style that emphasised its long-distance touring character and upscale feel. The E64 stood out through its long bonnet, low waistline and spacious interior, offering a blend of luxury, comfort and the traditional sporty BMW driving character.
Technically, the BMW 6 Series Convertible was offered with a range of six- and eight-cylinder petrol engines, and the model remained in production until 2010. A 2004 car is a particularly good early example of the line, because that was the year the E64 entered the market and opened a new chapter in the history of BMW’s modern luxury convertibles. Later, the flagship of the same family became the M6, which took the E64 platform to an entirely different level with its naturally aspirated V10 engine.
The model in my collection is produced by Kyosho and is an official BMW dealer edition. It represents a 2004 car.
