BMW 750Li (F02) oli mudel, millega BMW viis oma luksussedaani 2000. aastate lõpus veelgi elegantsemasse ja tehnoloogiliselt küpsemasse ajastusse. Minu kollektsioonis olev must Minichampsi mudelauto kujutab 2008–2012 eeluuenduse perioodi BMW 750Li-d ning pärineb piiratud tiraažist, kokku toodeti 1200 eksemplari. Kollektsioonis olev beež Minichampsi mudelauto on BMW ametlik edasimüüjamudel.

The BMW 750Li (F02) was the model with which BMW took its luxury sedan into an even more elegant and technologically mature era at the end of the 2000s. The F02 designation marked the long-wheelbase version of the 7 Series, offering more space and an even more prestigious character than the standard F01. The 750Li was one of the key models of this generation, combining the dignified character of a large luxury sedan with a powerful V8 engine, a high level of comfort and modern technology. The F01/F02 generation was also the first 7 Series to offer a hybrid drivetrain, an 8-speed automatic transmission and a turbocharged V12, which clearly reflects the technical ambition of the period.
Technically, the BMW 750Li used a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a displacement of 4395 cc. In early form, it produced 408 horsepower, giving the large luxury sedan very convincing performance and a smooth overall character. The F02 generation was produced from 2008 to 2015, and the overall F01/F02 7 Series family represented an important step for BMW toward more modern luxury, a new design language and a more technology-rich driving experience. That makes the 750Li a model well suited to represent the more powerful and luxurious side of the BMW 7 Series.
The black Minichamps model car in my collection represents a pre-facelift BMW 750Li from the 2008–2012 period and comes from a limited production run of 1,200 pieces. The beige Minichamps model car in my collection is an official BMW dealer model.
