BMW 750Li (G12) oli mudel, millega BMW viis oma luksussedaani 2010. aastate teisel poolel veelgi tehnoloogilisemasse ja rafineeritumasse ajastusse. G12 tähistas pika teljevahega 7. seeria versiooni ning pakkus võrreldes lühema G11-ga rohkem salongiruumi ja veelgi esinduslikumat iseloomu. 2015. aastal tootmisse jõudnud G11/G12 põlvkond oli esimene 7. seeria, mis põhines BMW CLAR-platvormil ning kasutas konstruktsioonis ka süsinikkiuga tugevdatud materjale, et vähendada kaalu ja parandada jäikust. See andis 750Li-le väga huvitava tasakaalu luksuse, tehnilise uuenduslikkuse ja margile omase juhikeskse tunnetuse vahel.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW 750Li (G12) 4,4-liitrist kahe turboga V8-mootorit töömahuga 4395 cm³. Varases versioonis arendas see 450 hobujõudu ning oli ühendatud 8-käigulise automaatkäigukastiga. G12 põlvkonda toodeti aastatel 2015–2022 ning mudelivalikusse kuulusid lisaks ka pistikhübriid-, diisel- ja V12-versioonid, mis näitab hästi selle ajastu 7. seeria tehnilist mitmekesisust. Just 750Li esindas selles põlvkonnas luksusliku pika kerega V8-mudelit, mille rõhk oli sujuval jõudlusel, kõrgel mugavustasemel ja moodsal tehnoloogial.

The BMW 750Li (G12) was the model with which BMW took its luxury sedan into an even more technological and refined era in the second half of the 2010s. The G12 designation marked the long-wheelbase version of the 7 Series, offering more interior space and an even more prestigious character than the shorter G11. Entering production in 2015, the G11/G12 generation was the first 7 Series based on BMW’s CLAR platform and also used carbon-fibre-reinforced materials in its structure to reduce weight and improve rigidity. This gave the 750Li a very interesting balance of luxury, technical innovation and the driver-focused character typical of BMW.
Technically, the BMW 750Li (G12) used a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a displacement of 4395 cc. In early form, it produced 450 horsepower and was paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The G12 generation was produced from 2015 to 2022, and the range also included plug-in hybrid, diesel and V12 versions, which shows the technical diversity of the 7 Series in that era very well. The 750Li represented the long-wheelbase V8 luxury model of the generation, with emphasis placed on smooth performance, a high level of comfort and modern technology.
