BMW M4 Competition Coupé (G82) on kaasaegne kõrge jõudlusega kupee, mis viis BMW M kaheukselise mudelirea uude ajastusse. Mudelit esitleti 2020. aastal ning see jätkas M4 nime kandvate kupeede traditsiooni pärast F82 põlvkonda, kuid tõi kaasa täiesti uue disainikeele, suurema tehnilise võimekuse ja veelgi tugevama igapäevase kasutatavuse. G82 paistis kohe silma oma jõulise välimuse, laia kere ja vastuolulise, kuid väga äratuntava esiosaga, mis muutis selle üheks enim tähelepanu saanud BMW M-mudeliks viimastel aastatel.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW M4 Competition Coupé 3,0-liitrist kahe turboga S58 ridakuut, mille võimsus ulatus 510 hobujõuni ja pöördemoment 650 njuutonmeetrini. Erinevalt tavalisest M4 Coupé versioonist pakuti Competition mudelit 8-käigulise M Steptronic automaatkäigukastiga. Mudelit pakuti algselt tagaveolisena, hiljem lisandus ka M xDrive nelikveoline versioon, mis parandas veelgi kiirendusvõimet ja haarduvust. Sõltuvalt veoskeemist kiirendas M4 Competition Coupé 0–100 km/h umbes 3,5–3,9 sekundiga ning tippkiirus oli elektrooniliselt piiratud 250 km/h-ni või M Driver’s Package’iga kuni 290 km/h-ni.
G82 M4 Competition oli oluline mudel ka seetõttu, et sellest kujunes M4 mudeliperekonna keskne ja tehniliselt väga võimekas versioon. See ühendas igapäevaselt kasutatava BMW M-kupee, tugeva jõuallika, kaasaegse elektroonika ja märksa küpsema sõidudünaamika kui varasem põlvkond. Samal ajal jäi mudel piisavalt sportlikuks, et olla aluseks hilisematele eriversioonidele, sealhulgas M4 CSL-ile ja M4 CS-ile.
Minu kollektsioonis olev mudel on Minichampsi toodang. Tegemist on piiratud tiraažiga mudeliga, mida toodeti 576 eksemplari. Mudel kujutab 2020. aasta autot.

BMW M4 Competition Coupé (G82) is a modern high-performance coupé that brought BMW M’s two-door model line into a new era. The model was introduced in 2020 and continued the tradition of M4-badged coupés after the F82 generation, while bringing a completely new design language, greater technical capability and even stronger everyday usability. The G82 immediately stood out with its powerful appearance, wide body and controversial yet highly recognisable front end, making it one of the most talked-about BMW M models of recent years.
Technically, the BMW M4 Competition Coupé used the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged S58 straight-six engine, producing 510 hp and 650 Nm of torque. Unlike the standard M4 Coupé, the Competition model was offered with an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission. It was initially available with rear-wheel drive, while the M xDrive all-wheel-drive version was added later, further improving acceleration and traction. Depending on the drivetrain, the M4 Competition Coupé accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in around 3.5–3.9 seconds, while top speed was electronically limited to 250 km/h, or up to 290 km/h with the M Driver’s Package.
The G82 M4 Competition was also important because it became the central and technically highly capable version of the M4 model family. It combined the everyday usability of a BMW M coupé, a powerful engine, modern electronics and more mature driving dynamics than the previous generation. At the same time, the model remained sporty enough to serve as the technical basis for later special versions, including the M4 CSL and M4 CS.
The model in my collection is produced by Minichamps. It is a limited-edition model, with only 576 pieces produced. The model represents a 2020 car.
