BMW M2 CS (F87) on F87 põlvkonna M2 kõige teravam ja eksklusiivsem seeriaversioon, mis loodi ühendama kompaktse BMW M-kupee klassikalist iseloomu ja veelgi rajakesksemat tehnilist sisu. Mudelit esitleti 2019. aasta lõpus ning see jõudis turule 2020. aastal. BMW M2 CS põhines M2 Competitionil, kuid tõi kaasa rea kaalulangetavaid ja sõidudünaamikat parandavaid muudatusi, sealhulgas rohkem süsinikkiust detaile, spetsiaalse seadistusega vedrustuse ning veelgi selgema juhikeskse fookuse. Just seetõttu peavad paljud entusiastid seda üheks parimaks moodsaks kompaktseks BMW M-mudeliks.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW M2 CS 3,0-liitrist kahe turboga S55 ridakuut, mille võimsus ulatus 450 hobujõuni ja pöördemoment 550 njuutonmeetrini. Mudelit pakuti nii kuuekäigulise manuaalkäigukasti kui ka seitsmekäigulise M DCT käigukastiga, kusjuures 0–100 km/h kiirendus jäi sõltuvalt käigukastist 4,0–4,2 sekundi vahele ning tippkiirus ulatus M Driver’s Package’iga 280 km/h-ni. Tootmine toimus Leipzigis ning M2 CS jäi F87 mudeliperekonna üheks hinnatuimaks ja ihaldusväärsemaks lõppversiooniks.
Minu kollektsioonis olev mudel on Minichampsi toodang. Mudelit toodeti 864 eksemplari.

The BMW M2 CS (F87) is the sharpest and most exclusive production version of the F87-generation M2, created to combine the classic character of a compact BMW M coupé with even more track-focused engineering. The model was unveiled in late 2019 and reached the market in 2020. Based on the M2 Competition, the M2 CS introduced a series of weight-saving and performance-enhancing upgrades, including more carbon-fibre components, specially tuned suspension and an even stronger driver-focused character. For that reason, many enthusiasts consider it one of the finest modern compact BMW M cars.
Technically, the BMW M2 CS used the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged S55 inline-six, producing 450 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. It was offered with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed M DCT transmission, with 0–100 km/h taking 4.0 to 4.2 seconds depending on gearbox, while top speed reached 280 km/h with the M Driver’s Package. Production took place in Leipzig, and the M2 CS became one of the most desirable final versions of the entire F87 model family.
The model in my collection is produced by Minichamps. A total of 864 model cars were made.
