BMW 530i Touring (E34) on kolmanda põlvkonna 5. seeria universaal, mis ühendas klassikalise BMW äriklassi praktilisuse ja tugeva kuuesilindrilise või kaheksasilindrilise jõudluse asemel juba uue ajastu V8-mootoriga iseloomu. E34 Touring toodi mudelivalikusse 1990. aastate alguses ning 530i versioon kujutas endast selle perekonna jõulisemat ja luksuslikumat varianti. 1992. aasta mudelina tähistas 530i Touring ühtlasi olulist tehnilist muutust, sest just siis jõudis E34 mudeliperre uus 3,0-liitrine V8-mootor, mis andis autole varasemast sujuvama ja jõulisema karakteri.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW 530i Touring (E34) 3,0-liitrist V8-mootorit, mille võimsus ulatus 218 hobujõuni. The BMW 530i Touring (E34) is a third-generation 5 Series estate that combined the practicality of a classic BMW executive car with the character of a new-generation V8 engine. The E34 Touring entered the model range in the early 1990s, and the 530i represented one of the more powerful and refined versions of the line-up. As a 1992 model, the 530i Touring also marked an important technical step, because it introduced the new 3.0-litre V8 engine to the E34 range, giving the car a smoother and more effortless character than before.
Technically, the BMW 530i Touring (E34) used a 3.0-litre V8 producing 218 horsepower. Combined with rear-wheel drive, solid ride comfort and the versatile Touring body, it offered an excellent balance between practicality and driving enjoyment.
