BMW M6 Coupé (E63) on teise põlvkonna M6 ja üks kõige erilisema jõuallikaga BMW kupeesid kogu margi ajaloos. Mudelit esitleti 2005. aastal ning see tõi 6. seeria tippversiooni tagasi pärast pikka pausi alates klassikalisest M635 CSi-st. E63 M6 ühendas suure luksuskupee elegantse vormi väga kõrge jõudlusega ning eristus tavalisest 6. seeria Coupést tagasihoidlikult, kuid sihipäraselt. Just see segu pikamaasõiduks sobivast grand tourer’ist ja kõrgepöördelisest superauto laadse iseloomuga jõuallikast teeb E63 M6-st ühe BMW M ajaloo kõige meeldejäävama mudeli.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW M6 Coupé 5,0-liitrist vabalthingavat V10-mootorit S85, mille võimsus ulatus 507 hobujõuni ja pöördemoment 520 njuutonmeetrini. Jõud kanti tagaratastele seitsmekäigulise SMG III käigukasti kaudu ning 0–100 km/h kiirendus võttis umbes 4,6 sekundit. 2006. aasta auto on selle mudeli varase perioodi hea näide, sest just siis jõudis M6 laiemalt turule ja kinnistas oma koha BMW M mudelivalikus kui luksuslik, kuid väga ekstreemse mootoriga kupee. E63/E64 M6 kogutootmine ulatus 14 152 autoni.
Minu kollektsioonis olev mudel on Minichampsi toodang. Mudelit toodeti 2016 eksemplari ning see kujutab 2006. aasta autot.

The BMW M6 Coupé (E63) is the second-generation M6 and one of the most distinctive BMW coupés ever created in terms of powertrain character. Introduced in 2005, it brought the top 6 Series performance model back after a long break since the classic M635 CSi. The E63 M6 combined the elegant shape of a large luxury coupé with very high performance, while differing from the standard 6 Series Coupé in a restrained but purposeful way. It is precisely this mix of grand touring comfort and a high-revving, supercar-like engine that makes the E63 M6 one of the most memorable cars in BMW M history.
Technically, the BMW M6 Coupé used the naturally aspirated 5.0-litre S85 V10, producing 507 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque. Power was sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed SMG III transmission, and 0–100 km/h took around 4.6 seconds. A 2006 car is a particularly good early example of the model, as this was the period when the M6 became fully established in the BMW M line-up as a luxury coupé with an unusually extreme engine concept. Total E63/E64 M6 production reached 14,152 cars.
