BMW M3 (G80)

BMW M3 (G80) on mudel, millega BMW viis M3 taas uude ajastusse, ühendades traditsioonilise sportliku sedaani idee moodsama tehnika ja palju jõulisema visuaalse identiteediga. Alates 2020. aastast toodetav G80 põlvkond eristus eelkäijast märksa agressiivsema esiosa, laiema kere ja selgelt rajalikuma üldmuljega. Samal ajal säilitas see M3-le omase põhiolemuse, kus igapäevane kasutatavus käib käsikäes väga kõrge jõudlusega. 2020. aasta auto tähistas selle põlvkonna algust ning tõi M3 mudelilukku uue peatüki, kus klassikaline sportlik sedaan muutus veelgi tehnoloogilisemaks ja võimekamaks.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW M3 (G80) 3,0-liitrist ridakuues turbomootorit, mille maksimaalne võimsus tava-M3 versioonis oli 480 hobujõudu. Jõud kanti tagaratastele kuuekäigulise manuaalkäigukasti kaudu ning just see kombinatsioon aitas säilitada G80 M3 juures klassikalise juhikeskse tunnetuse. BMW M kirjeldab G80 põlvkonda mudelina, mida on toodetud alates 2020. aastast ning mis on saadaval mitmes jõudlustasemes, sealhulgas Competition ja hiljem ka xDrive-versioonid. See teeb G80-st põlvkonna, mis laiendas M3 kontseptsiooni rohkem kui ükski varasem sportlik sedaan enne seda.

Minu kollektsioonis olev Minichampsi mudelauto kujutab 2020. aasta autot ning pärineb piiratud tiraažist, kokku toodeti 624 eksemplari.

The BMW M3 (G80) is the model that took the M3 into a new era, combining the traditional sports sedan concept with more modern technology and a much more forceful visual identity. Produced since 2020, the G80 generation stood apart from its predecessor through a far more aggressive front end, wider bodywork and a clearly more track-focused overall character. At the same time, it retained the essential M3 formula of combining everyday usability with very high performance. A 2020 car marked the beginning of this generation and opened a new chapter in the M3 story, in which the classic sports sedan became even more technological and capable.
Technically, the BMW M3 (G80) used a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine, producing 480 horsepower in the standard M3 version. Power was sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox, and it was precisely this combination that helped preserve the classic driver-focused character of the M3. BMW M describes the G80 generation as having been in production since 2020 and available in several performance levels, including Competition and later xDrive variants. This makes the G80 a generation that expanded the M3 concept more than any previous sports sedan before it.

The Minichamps model car in my collection represents a 2020 car and comes from a limited production run, with 624 pieces produced in total.
