BMW 323 Cabrio (E46)

BMW 323Ci Cabrio (E46) oli mudel, millega BMW kandis E46 põlvkonna elegantse ja sportliku joone üle avatud keretüübile. 2000. aasta auto kujutas endast klassikalist kuuesilindrilist BMW kabrioletti, mis ühendas väga hästi 3. seeria juhikeskse iseloomu, sujuva sõidukultuuri ja lahtise autoga kaasneva erilise sõiduelamuse. E46 Cabrio eristus kupeest pehmema katuse, veidi rahulikuma üldmulje ja luksuslikuma iseloomuga, kuid säilitas samas selgelt BMW-le omase sportliku tasakaalu. Just selline segu elegantsist, avatud kerest ja ridakuuesest mootorist teeb 323Ci Cabrio üheks oma ajastu väga iseloomulikuks BMW-ks.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW 323Ci Cabrio 2,5-liitrist ridakuues mootorit tähisega M52TÜB25, mille töömaht oli 2494 cm³ ja võimsus 170 hobujõudu. Mootoril oli Double VANOS, mis aitas parandada sujuvust ja igapäevast kasutusmugavust. E46 Cabrio oli üles ehitatud kupeeplatvormi põhjal, kuid selle kere tugevdamine ja avatava katuse lahendus andsid autole omaette iseloomu. 323Ci Cabrio kuulus E46 kabriolettide varasemasse mudelivalikusse ning enne hilisemate mudeliuuenduste ja uute mootoriversioonide saabumist esindas see avatud 3. seeria väga tasakaalukat ja väärikat kuuesilindrilist versiooni. Kogu E46 Cabrio kereversiooni toodeti aastatel 2000–2007 kokku 278 760 eksemplari.

Minu kollektsioonis olev Minichampsi mudel kujutab 2000. aasta autot ja on limiteeritud 1824 eksemplarile.

The BMW 323Ci Cabrio (E46) was the model with which BMW carried the elegant and sporting character of the E46 generation into an open-top body style. Representing a 2000 car, it was a classic six-cylinder BMW convertible that combined the driver-focused nature of the 3 Series, smooth refinement and the special experience that comes with open-top motoring. The E46 Cabrio differed from the Coupé through its soft-top roof, slightly more relaxed overall character and a more luxurious impression, while still retaining the sporty balance that is so typical of BMW. It is precisely this mix of elegance, open-top design and inline-six smoothness that makes the 323Ci Cabrio such a characteristic BMW of its era.
Technically, the BMW 323Ci Cabrio used the 2.5-litre inline-six engine known as the M52TÜB25, with a displacement of 2494 cc and an output of 170 horsepower. The engine featured Double VANOS, helping to improve smoothness and everyday usability. The E46 Cabrio was based on the Coupé platform, but its reinforced body structure and convertible roof arrangement gave it a distinct character of its own. The 323Ci Cabrio belonged to the earlier E46 convertible line-up and, before later updates and new engine versions arrived, represented a very balanced and refined six-cylinder version of the open 3 Series. Total E46 Cabrio production from 2000 to 2007 reached 278,760 cars.

The Minichamps model in my collection represents a 2000 car and is limited to 1,824 pieces.
