BMW 328 CI Coupe (E46)

BMW 328Ci Coupé (E46) oli mudel, millega BMW tõi E46 põlvkonna kupeevariandi turule ja sidus selle väga hästi kokku nii sportlikkuse kui ka elegantsiga. 1999. mudeliaastaks esitletud 328Ci kujutas endast E46 Coupé varast ja väga iseloomulikku versiooni, mis eristus sedaanist madalama, voolujoonelisema ja dünaamilisema kerekujuga. See oli auto, milles olid koos klassikaline BMW kupeeproportsioon, ridakuues mootor ja juhikeskne iseloom. E46 Coupé peetakse tänaseni üheks õnnestunumaks 3. seeria kupeedisainiks, sest selle vorm oli ühtaegu sportlik, puhas ja ajatu.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW 328Ci Coupé 2,8-liitrist ridakuues mootorit tähisega M52TÜB28, mille töömaht oli 2793 cm³ ja võimsus 193 hobujõudu. Selle mootori üheks oluliseks tunnuseks oli Double VANOS, mis parandas mootori töö sujuvust ja efektiivsust. BMW Group Classicu andmetel toodeti seda mudelit ajavahemikus detsembrist 1998 kuni juunini 2000 ning kõik eksemplarid valmisid Regensburgi tehases. 2000. aastal asendati 328Ci juba 330Ci-ga, mis annab sellele mudelile üsna lühikese, kuid hästi eristuva koha E46 Coupé arenguloos.

Minu kollektsioonis olev mudel on Minichampsi toodang ja limiteeritud 1008 eksemplarile.

The BMW 328Ci Coupé (E46) was the model that introduced the coupé version of the E46 generation and combined sportiness with elegance in a very convincing way. Launched for the 1999 model year, the 328Ci represented an early and highly characteristic version of the E46 Coupé, distinguished from the sedan by its lower, more streamlined and more dynamic body shape. It was a car that brought together classic BMW coupé proportions, an inline-six engine and a clearly driver-focused character. The E46 Coupé is still widely regarded as one of the most successful 3 Series coupé designs, thanks to a shape that was at once sporty, clean and timeless.
Technically, the BMW 328Ci Coupé used the 2.8-litre inline-six engine known as the M52TÜB28, with a displacement of 2793 cc and an output of 193 horsepower. One of the key features of this engine was Double VANOS, which improved both smoothness and efficiency. According to BMW Group Classic, the model was produced from December 1998 until June 2000, and all examples were built at the Regensburg plant. In 2000, the 328Ci was replaced by the 330Ci, which gives this model a relatively short but clearly defined place in the development history of the E46 Coupé.
