BMW M3 CS (G80)

BMW M3 CS (G80) on G80 põlvkonna M3 üks teravamaid ja erilisemaid versioone, mis viidi seeriatootmisse 2023. aastal. Tegemist oli piiratud tootmismahuga Competition Sport mudeliga, mis ühendas tavapärase M3 Competitioni praktilise neljaukselise kere veelgi jõulisema tehnika, väiksema massi ja rajale suunatud seadistusega. M3 CS paistis silma süsinikkiust detailide, spetsiifiliste keremuudatuste ja agressiivsema üldilmega, säilitades samal ajal M3-le omase võimaluse ühendada igapäevane kasutatavus väga kõrge jõudlusega. BMW ehitas G80 M3 CS-i piiratud seeriana Münchenis alates 2023. aasta märtsist.
Tehniliselt kasutas BMW M3 CS 3,0-liitrist kuuesilindrilist twin-turbo S58 mootorit, mille võimsus ulatus 550 hobujõuni. Jõud kanti kõigile ratastele M xDrive süsteemi kaudu ning käigukastiks oli kaheksakäiguline M Steptronic. 0–100 km/h kiirendus võttis 3,4 sekundit, mis muutis selle üheks kiireimaks neljaukseliseks M3-ks omal ajal. M3 CS tähtsus seisneb selles, et see tõi G80 mudeliperre selgelt rajale orienteeritud, kuid siiski kasutatava eriversiooni.

Minu kollektsioonis olev mudel on Minichampsi toodang. Mudelit toodeti 336 eksemplari ning see kujutab 2023. aasta autot. Samasse G80 põlvkonda kuuluvad minu kollektsioonis ka tavaline M3, M3 M Performance ja AC Schnitzer M3 Competition.

The BMW M3 CS (G80) is one of the sharpest and most special versions of the G80-generation M3, brought into production in 2023. It was a limited-run Competition Sport model that combined the practical four-door body of the regular M3 Competition with even stronger performance, reduced weight and a more track-focused setup. The M3 CS stood out through its carbon-fibre details, specific body modifications and more aggressive overall appearance, while still retaining the M3’s characteristic blend of everyday usability and very high performance. BMW built the G80 M3 CS in limited numbers in Munich starting in March 2023.
Technically, the BMW M3 CS used the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged S58 inline-six, producing 550 horsepower. Power was sent to all four wheels through the M xDrive system, while transmission duties were handled by an eight-speed M Steptronic gearbox. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h took 3.4 seconds, making it one of the quickest four-door M3 models of its time. The significance of the M3 CS lies in the way it gave the G80 family a clearly more track-oriented yet still usable special version.

The model in my collection is produced by Minichamps. A total of 336 model cars were made, and it represents a 2023 car. My collection also includes the regular M3, M3 M Performance and AC Schnitzer M3 Competition within the same G80 family.
